Marine & General Engineers Limited, founded in 1974 remains a prominent business in Guernsey’s maritime economy.  Initially established to provide marine engineering services to Condor Hydrofoils, the company developed its skills in land side metal related fabrication construction projects.  In 2015 the company restructured to focus on marine leisure boating related activities, already being the island’s sole Volvo Penta authorised dealer.  Our strategic positioning in the English Channel has facilitated the growth of our business in the marine sector.  We now serve local boat owners, and visiting yachtsmen alike.  Today we continue to play a pivotal role in Guernsey’s marine sector with our Volvo Penta, Yanmar and Nanni dealerships supported by a fully stocked chandlery and parts department.  We have always been “Passionate About Boats” and we continue to embrace new technologies as they find themselves entering the marine market.
